EMBANKMENT USING BANKING MATERIAL INCLUDING HARMFUL SUBSTANCE AND EMBANKMENT CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embankment using a banking material containing harmful substances, by improving the banking material by using a cement and solidifying the mixture to effectively utilize the banking material as a harmful substance countermeasure, and to provide an embankment construction method thereof.SOLUTION: In an embankment using a banking material including harmful substances, by making a cement-improved soil prepared by adding and mixing a cement-based solidification agent to and with the banking material including harmful substances, the coefficient of water permeability of the whole of the embankment is lessened, thereby preventing the infiltration of moisture into the inside of the embankment from the outside of the embankment and the leaching of the harmful substances to the outside of the embankment from the inside of the embankment, and further removing heavy metals eluted from within the embankment through an adsorption layer.
