Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a cooking stove, which can be easily mounted on an existing cooking stove, has a wider detection area for intrusion of a human body, clothes or the like and has higher safeness.SOLUTION: A safety device 1 for a cooking stove, which can be mounted on a cooking stove 50 having a burner, includes two different types of intrusion detecting means (10R, 10L) (20R, 20L), alarming means (43, 44) and a control means. When the control means predicts intrusion of an object including a human body or clothes into a preliminarily set alarming area, based on a detection signal from the two types of the intrusion detecting means, the control means outputs an alarm by using the alarming means.
