Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve update of data stored in electrically-rewritable nonvolatile memory of an actuator provided in an internal combustion engine, by restraining the nonvolatile memory from becoming short-lived.SOLUTION: When an ignition switch is turned off, a control unit of an engine ECU obtains a temperature measurement value of a fuel temperature sensor provided in an injector (S220), determines whether the temperature measurement value is a threshold or below (S230), and updates data of an EEPROM 19 provided in the injector (S295), in the case where the temperature measurement value is a threshold or below (S230: Yes). Meanwhile, the control unit of the engine ECU suspends this data update (S240) in the case where the temperature measurement value exceeds the threshold, and performs setting of a soak timer (S290). At a restart using the soak timer, the control unit of the engine ECU obtains the temperature measurement value of the fuel temperature sensor again (S220), and updates the data of the EEPROM 19 (S295) in the case where the temperature measurement value is the threshold or below (S230: Yes).
