PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower which can be used irrespective of use environment and an installing posture, can suppress a number of lineups and can suppress a cost.SOLUTION: A blower 1 includes: a scroll casing 10 which stores an impeller 2 in an interior thereof and has an inlet port and an outlet port 5 formed so that an inlet direction and an outlet direction are substantially vertical to each other; a lateral side casing 25 which is disposed so as to hold the scroll casing from both sides and has a cross-sectional shape expressing a substantially square shape; a motor cover 12 with which a motor 8 disposed on an outside of the lateral side casing is covered, and which is made attachable by selecting such an attachment attitude as to direct a top surface 14 with respect to any side among four sides of the substantially square shape of the lateral side casing; and a blocking cover 13 made attachable so as to block a gap between the lateral side casings. Here, the blocking cover includes a main cover part 13a which blocks a direction side vertical to the outlet direction and auxiliary cover parts 13b, 13c formed on the edge parts of the main cover part, respectively.
