DEVICE FOR REMOVING FOREIGN MATTER INSIDE PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing foreign matter inside a pipe, preventing a supply pump for used paper raw material from being stuffed with the foreign matter separated from the used paper raw material when generating deinked pulp.SOLUTION: A suction side and a discharge side of a supply pump 2 transporting used paper raw material from a pulper to a rough selection screen are provided with valves 3, 4, and a portion of a feeding pipe 1 between the suction side valve 3 and a suction port 2s of the supply pump 2 is provided with a capture plate 11 wherein a flow direction is a width direction slidably between a capture position inside the feeding pipe 1 and a removal position getting out of the feeding pipe 1. An exhaust valve 14 is made to interpose below the capture plate 11, and a foreign matter exhaust pipe 13 is provided. If foreign matter mixed in the used paper raw material is captured by the capture plate 11, the capture plate 11 is slid from the capture position to the removal position, and the foreign matter is scraped off the capture plate 11. The exhaust valve 14 is opened to exhaust the foreign matter from inside the supply pipe 1 together with the used paper raw material.
