VIDEO INTERPHONE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video interphone device capable of securing luminance by monitoring the luminance of a backlight LED of an LCD panel and performing automatic correction by increase of a driving current even when light emitting efficiency of the backlight LED declines.SOLUTION: The video interphone device comprises an entrance slave unit for having a visitor call a resident, and a living room master unit for responding to calling from the entrance slave unit. The living room master unit includes: a backlight LED used as a backlight of an LCD panel of a monitor part; an LED driving current source for driving the backlight LED; an LED light receiving part for monitoring change of the luminance of the backlight LED; and a current source control circuit for comparing a predetermined luminance target value with a luminance monitor value received in the LED light receiving part, and controlling the LED driving current source so as to be at least the luminance target value or greater in the case of being lower than the luminance target value due to decline of light emitting efficiency or the like.
