Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydrogen treatment equipment of a nuclear power plant, allowed to be downsized and capable of improving hydrogen treatment capacity.SOLUTION: Hydrogen treatment equipment 1 has an annular catalyst layer 2 and surrounds a periphery of the catalyst layer 2 by a heat insulating layer 3. A gas passage 4 is formed on the inside of the catalyst layer 2. The hydrogen treatment equipment 1 is installed, for example, in a dry well filled with nitrogen gas in a reactor container. In accident of loss of a coolant, nitrogen gas containing hydrogen and oxygen discharged from cracks generated in a pipeline connected to the reactor container into the dry well is made flow into the gas passage 4. The hydrogen contained in the nitrogen gas generates water by reacting with the oxygen in the nitrogen gas by action of a catalyst metal of the catalyst layer 2. Since the gas passage 4 is surrounded by the annular catalyst layer 2, thermal dose from the catalyst layer 2 to the nitrogen gas in the gas passage 4 is increased, and further heat quantity discharged from the catalyst layer 2 to the outside is reduced due to the formation of the heat insulating layer 3.
