SPLIT TYPE RETAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split type retainer maintaining complete roundness with respect to expansion and shrinkage in the circumferential direction of the retainer and suppressing generation of noise.SOLUTION: In a split type retainer 11 connected in an annular shape by connection parts 13 arranged in both ends of a plurality of segments 12, connection parts 13t, 13o are arranged in parallel with the circumferential direction C of the split type retainer 11 in both ends of the each segment 12, the respective segments 12 are fitted to each other by an unevenness structure formed in the circumferential direction C of the split type retainer, and all of the connection parts 13t, 13o excluding ends 12h in the circumferential direction of the segments 12 and joining surfaces of uneven parts 15t, 15o formed in the connection parts 13t, 13o are formed in parallel along the circumferential direction.
