Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel plate for molten zinc bath equipment excellent in resistance to molten zinc corrosion and resistance to zinc-induced cracking, which has strength, toughness and weldability required for a steel for a welded structure, has excellent corrosion resistance in terms of corrosion caused by molten zinc and is less prone to cracking induced by molten zinc, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A steel plate for molten zinc bath equipment comprises, by mass, 0.10-0.30% C, ≤0.05% Si, 0.20-2.0% Mn, ≤0.015% P, ≤0.030% S, ≤0.070% Al, and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. In a cross section of a plate thickness parallel to the rolling direction and perpendicular to a plate surface, bainite structure accounts for 70% or more by area fraction of metallic structures within a surface layer extending from the plate surface to t/4 of the plate thickness direction. |
