Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolysis apparatus capable of easily producing high-temperature water having abundant dissolved hydrogen therein and favorably usable for hot beverage.SOLUTION: An electrolysis apparatus includes an outer case 2, an inner container 3 disposed inside the outer case 2, an air layer K for controlling the heat conduction from the inside of the inner container 3 to the outer case 2 side, a pair of electrodes 10 disposed inside the inner container 3, a voltage applying circuit 13 for generating the voltage to be applied to the pair of electrodes 10, and a conductor for electrically connecting the pair of electrodes 10 to the voltage applying circuit 13. In particular, the pair of electrodes 10 are supported on a bottom part 3b of the inner container 3 by an electrically insulating holder 11, and coaxially disposed in an annular shape. A prescribed inter-electrode space 14 is formed between the pair of electrodes 10, and the inter-electrode space 14 is kept in the internal space of the inner container 3 in an upwardly and downwardly open state.
