PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate breaking device capable of efficiently separating an overflow part and a gate side solidified part from a product part.SOLUTION: A gate breaking device 20 includes: a clamp mechanism 30 for holding a biscuit part Wof a die casting molded article W; a lifting unit 31 disposed above the die casting molded article W; and a support 32 arranged below the die casting molded article W. The lifting unit 31 has: a first pusher 61 that extends toward an overflow part W; and a second pusher 62 that extends toward a product part Wand is shorter than the first pusher 61. When the lifting unit 31 is lowered to a first height, a lower end of the first pusher 61 is abutted to the overflow part Wand pushes the overflow part Wdownwards and thus, a gate part Won an overflow side is broken. Further, the lifting unit 31 is lowered to a second height lower than the first height, the second pusher 62 is abutted to the product part Wand pushes the product part Wdownwards, and thus, a gate part Won a gate side is broken.
