Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus capable of coating a base material uniformly even with a paste having easily drying and easily condensing characteristics.SOLUTION: A coating apparatus 100, while relatively moving a base material PM and a die 110, discharges a paste discharged from the die 110 onto the base material PM from the discharge port 180 of a discharge passage 120 over a width direction d2 perpendicular to the coating direction d1 of the base material. The discharge passage 120 includes a first manifold 130 and a second manifold 150. When the radius of a center portion of the first manifold 130 is defined as R1a and the radius of an end of the first manifold 130 in a width direction d2 is defined as R1b, R1a/R1b is set to be 1.25-1.35.
