PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color calibration coefficient calculation apparatus which calculates coefficients for calibrating an output device that has calibrated paper white while taking account of adjustment in the reproduction start value.SOLUTION: A target color value paper white calibration unit 1 calibrates paper white for the target absolute color value information of a target output device to produce target paper white color value information. A reproduction start value information acquisition unit 2 determines a reproduction start color difference, i.e., the color difference from the paper white and the reproduction start value in the target output device from the target absolute color value information. A device reproduction start value where the color difference from white is the reproduction start color difference is also obtained by the output device to be calibrated, from the device absolute color value information of the output device to be calibrated. A device color value paper white calibration unit 3 calibrates paper white of the device absolute color value information so that the calibration value of device reproduction start value is the reproduction start value, thus obtaining device paper white color value information. A color calibration coefficient calculation value calculation unit 4 calculates coefficients for calibrating the color value from the target paper white color value information and the device paper white color value information.
