WATERPROOF CASE FOR INDICATOR LIGHT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof case for an indicator light for housing a non-waterproof indicator light, capable of securing moisture-proof and waterproof performance through a simple construction.SOLUTION: For a waterproof case 130 for an indicator light, a cover 12c is provided with a nearly box-like box-shape part (12c-6) with an opening, a brim-shaped flange part(12c-4) formed at a peripheral edge of the opening of the box-shape part (12c-6), and a side-face (12c-5) formed of 4 side faces erected from the flange part (12c-4) for each of erection directions of four side faces (12c-3) of the box-shape part (12c-6). An end part (a peripheral edge part 12c-1) of the side face part (12c-5) is in contact with a cover packing 15c in a temporary assembly state. As a bent part of the cover 12c is increased, its rigidity is increased. When 12c is fixed with cover-fitting screws (21c-1), (21c-2), deformation of the cover 12c is further prevented, thereby improving moisture-proof and waterproof performance.
