Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that provides a firm electrical and mechanical connection and can overcome connection impediments due to corrosion.SOLUTION: A cable assembly comprises a terminal crimped to a conductor. The terminal 12 has a plurality of crimps 16, 18 separated from one another and a transition crimp 20 disposed between the crimps. A method comprises: deforming the terminal 12 about the conductor 14 to form the plurality of crimps having different crimp heights; and deforming the terminal 12 about the conductor 14 to form the transition crimp 20 between the plurality of crimps. The transition crimp 20 has a different crimp height than each of the plurality of crimps.
