Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve operation accuracy of a brake with discharging of compressed gas at a low temperature, relating to a control device of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine 10, in which a brake with discharging of compressed gas for opening/closing an exhaust valve 19 during a compression stroke is enabled, includes: an exhaust valve opening/closing means 30 for opening/closing the exhaust valve 19 by hydraulic pressure of a working fluid to operate the brake with discharging of compressed gas; an oil temperature detecting means 26 for detecting an oil temperature of the working fluid; and a controlling means 82 for controlling the operation of the brake with discharging of compressed gas by the exhaust valve opening/closing means 30. The controlling means 82 stops the operation of the brake with discharging of compressed gas by the exhaust valve opening/closing means 30 when the detection value of the oil temperature detecting means 26 is lower than a lower-limit threshold value.
