PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter issuing device that can stably perform issue operation, while improving a degree of freedom of installation.SOLUTION: A printed matter issuing device 100 comprises: a printing part 20 that sends off printing paper P while applying printing; a conveyance roller part 30 that sends off the printing paper P in a conveyance direction by positively rotating a pair of rollers, while sandwiching the printing paper sent off by the printing part 20 with the pair of rollers that are made rotatable in forward and reverse;. a conveyance direction switching part 35 that switches the conveyance directions of the conveyance roller part 30 between a first direction facing an outlet 95 of the printing paper P and a second direction that intersects the first direction; and a recovery part 55 arranged at a rear side of the second direction of the conveyance roller part 30 that assumes the conveyance direction as the second direction and can store the printing paper P.
