Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and compact clamping device capable of reliably clamping a tie bar and a movable platen, and having high durability.SOLUTION: In a two-platen type clamping device (1), a friction clamp device (15) includes a cylindrical sleeve body (16) and a piston body (17). The sleeve body (16) includes an inner sleeve (20) and an outer sleeve (21), these are connected to each other at either end, a hollow part (23) is formed inside, and machine oil is filled therein. The sleeve body (16) is inserted in a clearance between a tie bar insertion hole (14) of a movable platen (6) and a tie bar (8), and a piston part (26) of the piston body (17) is inserted in the hollow part (23) in an advancing/retracting manner. The piston body (17) is driven by a predetermined driving mechanism (18) which is fixedly provided on the movable platen (6), the sleeve body (16) is elastically deformed by effect of machine oil, and the movable platen (6) and the tie bar (8) are clamped to each other.
