A panoramic image producing portion 205 composes the photographed image data of a plurality of photographed images by photographing while moving the camera and produces panoramic image data. A panoramic image memory portion 203 stores the panoramic image data. A display image moving portion 209 uses an image based on a part of the panoramic image data as a display image to be indicated in a display portion 207, and moves the part of the panoramic image data to move the display image. A camera moving portion 210 moves the camera in a pan direction or a tilt direction, without following the movement of the display image.
