PROGRESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND PROGRESS MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a progress management system and a progress management method for highly accurately grasping a target value of the number of change steps of a source code after the completion of development during development.SOLUTION: A progress management system for measuring the number of steps of a source code in the development work of software includes: storage means for preliminarily storing a target value of the number of change steps of the source code of each of a plurality of management units; first means for measuring the number of change steps of each management unit from the source code at a reference point of time and the source code at a current point of time; second means for determining that the creation of the source code of each management unit has been completed from the number of change steps measured by the first means; and third means for, when it is determined that the creation of the source code has been completed by the second means, replacing the target value of the number of change steps of the source code of each management unit stored in the storage means with an actual value to be obtained from the number of change steps measured by the first means.
