Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering tantalum from oil sludge in a short period of time and with high yield under conditions of low dangerousness and a low environmental load.SOLUTION: After removing an oil by applying a hydrothermal treatment to an oil sludge containing lithium tantalate, iron is removed with organic acid, and alkaline solution is added to a melt solution obtained by applying the hydrothermal treatment to a solid obtained by removing the iron and thus, the tantalum can be recovered from the oil sludge in a short period of time and with the high yield without using a drying process under high temperature condition and an organic solvent of a high environmental load.
