HANDRAIL DEVICE IN CAR OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device in a car of an elevator which enables a handrail to effectively function for helping a passenger in an ordinary time, causes no trouble resulting from the handrail when carrying in or taking out baggages, and can secure a wide effective space in the car.SOLUTION: A handrail device in a car of an elevator includes: recessed parts 4 formed at side faces 3 of the car; movable plates 6 which are attached to the side faces 3 via hinges 10 so as to be turnable, joined to the side faces 3 in an ordinary time, and engaged with opening faces of the recessed parts 4 by turning via the hinges 10; handrails 7 which are attached to the movable plates 6, protrude from the movable plates 6 toward an inner center side of the car in the ordinary time when the movable plates 6 are joined to the side faces 3, and are stored in the recessed parts 4 by the movement of engagement with the opening faces of the recessed parts 4 by the turning of the movable plates 6; and blocking members 16 which are fitted into the recessed parts 4 in the ordinary time, thereby blocking the opening faces of the recessed parts 4.
