Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body rear part structure capable of suppressing deformation of a vehicle body in a vehicle collision.SOLUTION: A vehicle body rear part structure 100 to be a vehicle body rear part structure of a hybrid vehicle or an electric vehicle includes: a rear floor panel 106 which configures a floor surface in a vehicle body rear part, is formed with an opening section 106a through which a battery unit 104 is passed over the floor surface and fixes a hinge section 120 supporting a rear seat 108 or a first anchor member 110a and a second anchor member 112a for fixing a seat belt 130a in front of the opening section; a cross member 140 which is installed on a lower surface of the rear floor panel and has both ends fixed to a vehicle body in front of the opening section; a casing trim-like frame member 144 which surrounds a portion 104b on a lower side of the rear floor panel of the battery unit and attaches the battery unit to the rear floor panel; and bracket members 146a, 146b and 146c connecting the cross member to the frame member.
