Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generator which unfailingly prevents the damage during the operation stop and maintains good power generation performance.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric generator 1 includes: a high temperature tube 10 where a high temperature fluid passes; a low temperature tube 20 located adjacent to the high temperature tube 10 in a horizontal direction, the low temperature tube 20 where a low temperature fluid, having a temperature lower than that of the high temperature fluid, passes; a thermoelectric module 32 that is disposed between the high temperature tube 10 and the low temperature tube 20 and generates power utilizing a temperature difference between the high temperature tube 10 and the low temperature tube 20; a fluid chamber 28 connected with an upper part and a lower part of the low temperature tube 20 so as to be in parallel with the low temperature tube 20; and a fluid replenishment device 110 replenishing the liquid low temperature fluid to the fluid chamber 28.
