OPTICAL CONNECTOR CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector cleaner which allows a uniform cleaning result to be always obtained regardless of the change of a user.SOLUTION: The optical connector cleaner includes: a cleaning string supply reel 15 having a cleaning string 18 wound therearound; a take-up reel 16 for rewinding the cleaning string 18; a connector connection part 6 where the cleaning string 18 extending from the supply reel 15 to the take-up reel 16 is exposed; an enclosure 2; an operation lever 35 which has an operation part 37 projecting from the enclosure 2 and is supported so as to freely swing relative to the enclosure 2; a take-up mechanism which rotates the take-up reel 16 at a fixed angle in a rewinding direction in response to a swing of the operation lever 35; and a holding member 36 which holds an optical connector 5 on the enclosure 2 in a state where a coupling end surface 9 of the optical connector 5 is pressed to the cleaning string 18 exposed to the connector connection part 6.
