WET TYPE IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR ADJUSTING IMAGE FORMING CONDITION, AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING IMAGE NOISE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type image forming apparatus capable of appropriately determining whether or not a decrease in image density of a toner image is caused by an occurrence of image noise.SOLUTION: A wet type image forming apparatus 100 includes: a first density detection sensor 41 for detecting image density of a patch image on a photoreceptor 21 before transfer; a second density detection sensor 42 for detecting the image density of the patch image as residuals on the photoreceptor 21 after the transfer; and a third density detection sensor 43 for detecting the image density of the patch image on an intermediate transfer roller 31 after the transfer. The image density of the patch image transferred onto the intermediate transfer roller 31 is calculated as a calculation value, from a difference between a detection result of the first density detection sensor 41 and the detection result of the second density detection sensor 42. Whether or not a difference between the calculation value and the detection result of the third density detection sensor 43 is a predetermined value or less is determined.
