Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transport apparatus and a heat transport method which can use a nitrous oxide as energy friendly to the global environment.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a refrigerant circulation system 101 along which a refrigerant R is circulated; an absorbent circulation system 102 which is connected to the refrigerant circulation system 101 and through which an absorbent A for absorbing the refrigerant R is circulated; a condensation unit 103 which releases heat from the refrigerant R in the refrigerant circulation system 101 while condensing the refrigerant R; an evaporation unit 104 which absorbs heat to the refrigerant R in the refrigerant circulation system 101 while evaporating the refrigerant R; an absorption unit 105 which absorbs the evaporated refrigerant R to the absorbent A in the absorbent circulation system 102; and a regeneration unit 106 which evaporates the absorbed refrigerant R from the absorbent A in the absorbent circulation system 102. The regeneration unit 106 includes a heating means 112 for heating the absorbent A, and the heating means 112 performs heating with decomposition heat generated by the decomposition of a nitrous oxide.
