Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system capable of discharging water preferably even on environmental maintenance of a surrounding sea area, by managing water discharging temperature, while further improving power generation efficiency by stepwise use of deep layer seawater.SOLUTION: In a power generation system, a second power generation facility (6, 7, 8 and 9) is constituted to discharge hot waste water after a heat exchange to a surrounding sea area, with deep layer seawater as a low temperature heat source and the hot waste water from a condenser 2 of a first power generation facility (2, 3 and 4) as a hot temperature heat source, and the first power generation facility is constituted to introduce the deep layer seawater after the heat exchange by the second power generation facility to the condenser (2), exchange heat with exhaust steam from a turbine (3) and supply the hot waste water after heat exchange as a high temperature heat source of the first power generation facility. The temperature of the deep layer seawater when introduced to the condenser (2) of the first power generation facility after being used as the low temperature heat source in the second power generation facility, is set to the temperature lower than the temperature of surface layer seawater of the surrounding sea area.
