PARTITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition which can be constructed by one person without requiring working efforts and labors.SOLUTION: The partition comprises: cores 2; bars 4; and lower metal fittings 3. The cores 2 are mounted to a ceiling 10, and the lower metal fittings 3 are mounted to a floor 11 under the cores 2. Each bar 4 has an upper cap 12 and a lower cap 13. The upper cap 12 has a recessed part 14 for receiving the core 2, and the lower cap 13 has a mounted part 16 to which the lower metal fitting 3 is mounted. The recessed part 14 has a core receiving portion 28, and a core insertion space 29 continuous with the core receiving portion 28. The core insertion space 29 is wider than the core receiving portion 28. The core receiving portion 28 has an inner face 30a which contacts the core 2 to non-rotatably fix the core 2 even when changing a direction of erecting the bar 4. The bar 4 is mounted in the manner of inserting the core 2 into the core insertion space 29, moving the core 2 from the core insertion space 29 to the core receiving portion 28, and dropping the lower cap 13 into the lower metal fitting 3.
