Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter bit capable of reducing a risk of damage to an excavator, etc. by decreasing frequency of replacement associated with abrasion.SOLUTION: In a cutter bit 1 where a primary bit 10 and a secondary bit 20 are laminated, the primary bit 10 has a primary base material 11 and a primary edge material 12 fixed to the primary base material 11, the secondary bit 20 has a secondary base material 21 and a secondary edge material 22 fixed to the secondary base material 21, the primary base material 11 has a back face portion 13 covering a back face of the secondary edge material 22 and a front face portion 14 covering a front face of the secondary edge material 22, and a base end face of the back face portion 13 and a base end face of the front face portion 14 are welded to the secondary base material 21.
