Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method and apparatus for producing an oxide nanocrystal of proper cubic system having a small particle size without carrying out additional heat treatment.SOLUTION: A method for producing an oxide nanocrystal comprises: (a) a process for introducing a host lattice ion as an organometallic complex or a volatile inorganic compound into at least one first evaporator (12); (b) a process for converting the complex or the compound into a vapor phase; (c) a process for transporting the formed vapor phase to at least one heating zone (18) of at least one reactor (16) by using one or more carrier gases and/or a carrier gas mixture and feeding one or more reaction gases and/or a reaction gas mixture to the heating zone; (d) a process for decomposing the complex or the compound in the heating zone (18) of the reactor (16) under a pressure of 1-1,000 mbar to form an oxide nanocrystal; and (e) a process for separating the oxide nanocrystal by at least one adsorption trap (20).
