METHOD FOR PRODUCING METAL OXIDE NANO-SHEET AND METAL OXIDE NANO-SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a metal oxide nano-sheet through inexpensive and convenient processes of heating and firing a gel composite of a metal ion compound and polyamine, on the basic assumption that a metal electrolyte compound which is easy to obtain industrially is used as the metal source.SOLUTION: There are provided a method for producing a metal oxide nano-sheet including the processes of (I) preparing an aqueous solution of a polymer having a polyamine skeleton including an amino group, (II) preparing an aqueous solution of a metal electrolyte compound comprising a composition of a metal cation and an acid radical anion, (III) mixing the aqueous solutions obtained in (I) and (II) with each other and depositing an insoluble gel composite comprising the polymer, metal cation, and acid radical anion from the mixed liquid, (IV) recovering and drying the deposited insoluble gel composite, and (V) heating and firing the insoluble gel composite having been dried in an air atmosphere; and a metal oxide nano-sheet obtained by the method.
