DIRECTION CHANGING DEVICE FOR ARTICLE IN PALLETIZER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction changing device for an article in a palletizer, capable of efficiently changing a direction of the article such as a case bundle to be palletized.SOLUTION: A direction changing device for an article in a palletizer comprises: a pivot arm 51 provided above a table 11 on which case bundles A having a constant orientation are sequentially fed; a rotation arm 52 rotatably provided at an end of the pivot arm 51. A pinching device 80 pinching the case bundle A from the front and the back is supported by the rotation arm 52. The pivot arm 51 is rotated by 180° while the pinching device 80 pinches the case bundle A, and the rotation arm 52 is rotated by a set angle during the rotation. Accordingly, the orientation of the case bundle A is changed by the rotation of the set angle of the rotation arm 52 while pivotally conveying the case bundle A to a downstream side by the rotation of the pivot arm 51.
