Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized ultrasonic diagnostic imaging apparatus capable of obtaining a high-quality ultrasonic image excellent in the resolution, azimuth resolution, and distance resolution without excessively increasing the ultrasonic frequency.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 10 includes: a transducer module 20 in which a plurality of transceiving units 40 capable of transmitting/receiving ultrasonic waves are aligned in the circumferential direction; and a control device 100 for controlling the motion of the transducer module 20. The transceiving units 40 are formed by aligning transceiving cells 46 in a plurality of rows. The imaging apparatus 10 scans a prescribed angle range with ultrasonic beams generated by phase-controlling ultrasonic waves transmitted from the respective transceiving cells 46 constituting the transceiving units 40 so that reflected waves can be received. A scan image can be obtained based on a receiving signal while sequentially switching the transceiving units 40 for transmission and receiving processing.
