DEVICE FOR PREVENTING ARTICLE FROM FALLING IN ARTICLE SHELF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing an article from falling in an article shelf, in which the device normally has no trouble in putting in and taking out articles, has full capability in exhibition and management of articles, impairs no beautiful appearance, and can preventing articles from falling due to vibration such as earthquake, and also, is adaptable to a shelf for displaying articles of various sizes.SOLUTION: A device for preventing an article from falling in an article shelf includes: a pair of right and left bracket members 2 having a hook 3 engaging with an engaging holes 10 arranged in the front surface of a support 9 at the rear end; and a fall prevention piece 6 projecting forward relative to the pair of right and left bracket members 2 and pivoted in a manner turned vertically. The bracket members 2 each have a bent piece 4 of a preventive mechanism that allows the fall prevention piece 6 to turn upward and that prevents, at a prescribed position, the fall prevention piece 6 from turning downward. As a result, the device has no trouble in putting in and taking out articles, is adaptable to displayed articles of various sizes, and can prevent articles from falling due to vibration.
