Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chewy confectionery product that includes a multi-region composition that provides sensory experiences such as cooling perception and/or mouth moistening.SOLUTION: A confectionery composition includes: (a) a first region including a particulate material; (b) a second region including a soluble chewable matrix, partially surrounding the first region, and having a moisture content of about 5% to about 15% by weight; and (c) a third region at least partially surrounding the second region, and including a coating. The particulate material preferably has a tap density of from about 0.5 to about 2.5 relative to a bulk density, more preferably has a tap density of from about 0.7 to about 2.3 relative to a bulk density, and further preferably has a tap density of from about 0.9 to about 2.1 relative to a bulk density. |
