Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control vibration damping performance of a lightweight vibration damping material formed of a nonwoven fiber structure.SOLUTION: A vibration frequency area for revealing vibration damping performance is controlled with a natural frequency of a nonwoven fiber structure as an index, in a vibration damping material including the nonwoven fiber structure which includes wet heat adhesive fiber and in which fiber is fixed by fusion of the wet heat adhesive fiber. In a control method, the natural frequency may be adjusted based on bulk density. Further, in addition to control of the vibration damping performance, spring elasticity of the vibration damping material may also be controlled by adjusting also an equivalent spring constant based on the bulk density. In the control method, the bulk density of the nonwoven fiber structure may be about 30-200 kg/m. The control method may be a method for damping vibration of a vibration frequency of 500 Hz or less.
