Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column climbing tool which can secure a space for hooking a rope at a position capable of securing the safety of a worker even if a space in the vicinity of a scaffold bolt is occupied with an installed object.SOLUTION: A column climbing tool includes a column member 2, a fixing member 3 which fixes the column member 2 to a utility pole P with a distance, and a removal preventing member 4 which prevents a rope hooked to the column member 2 from being removed from the longitudinal direction of the column member 2 and is provided to the column member 2 with a distance between it and the fixing member 3 in the longitudinal direction of the column member 2.
