METHOD OF INSTRUCTING ISSUANCE OF WARNING IN TRAIN APPROACH WARNING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for a warning device to issue a warning without reducing safety.SOLUTION: A system is configured to cause a control device to output train approach information when distance between a train and a train watcher reaches a predetermined distance. When the train reaches a tracking start position, original train approach information is output to issue a warning after the lapse of original designated delay time. When the train reaches a tracking check position, previous train approach information is discarded, and corrected train approach information is output to issue a warning after the lapse of corrected designated delay time. When the train reaches an approach determination position, the previous corrected train approach information is discarded, and a final train approach information is output to the warning device to issue a warning after the lapse of minimum margin time. Too much warning can be prevented, and the system can be applicable to a high-density section.
