When at least the first moving image data is output in accordance with the predetermined standards, the recording apparatus determines the number of the second moving image data to be created on the basis of the output state of the moving image data that are output by using the output system, and creates the second moving image data in the determined number and records the second moving image data in a recording medium concurrently with the output of the first moving image data.
