VIDEO VIEWING SYSTEM AND VIDEO VIEWING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video viewing system in which a television video sent by means of a television broadcast wave and a posted image sent from a WEB server are displayed in association with each other.SOLUTION: A television viewing apparatus includes: means for receiving a television video corresponding to a channel number; means for receiving program information corresponding to the channel number; means for transmitting a search condition including the program information and user identification information to a WEB server and receiving a search result image transmitted from the WEB server; and means for combining the received search result image with the television video and outputting them to a monitor. The WEB server includes: a database in which the program information, the user identification information, and an image posted by a user are stored in association with each other; means for searching the database for an image on the basis of the search condition received from the television viewing apparatus; and means for transmitting the search result image, in which screen configuration is done by performing scaling on an image obtained as a result of the search, to the television viewing apparatus.
