Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a communication operating rate by always taking a redundancy configuration of a communication line and a backup line by employing a plurality of tracking antennas provided on a mobile body and a plurality of antennas.SOLUTION: A tracking antenna device sets a communication line and a backup line between it and a first satellite by directing the orientation direction of each tracking antennas toward the first satellite to be used for the communication line among a plurality of satellites between a plurality of tracking antennas comprised by an earth station installed in a mobile body and the plurality of satellites having backup relation with each other. The tracking antenna device comprises tracking antenna control means which performs control to successively determine whether a line of sight from each of the plurality of tracking antennas to the first satellite is secured or not, to establish a backup line between it and a second satellite having backup relation with the first satellite for a tracking antenna about which the line of sight is not secured, and to make it possible to line switch between the communication line with the first satellite and the backup line with the second satellite.
