POWER RECEPTACLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power receptacle that has a simple structure, that is excellent in operability, and that can make a power supply terminal contact with a plug terminal with certainty.SOLUTION: A power receptacle 1 is configured by: a receptacle main body 2 having a rectangular parallelepiped space part 20 whose one surface is opened; and a rectangular parallelepiped movable member 3 inserted into the space part 20 and movable toward the opening surface. When a plug terminal 61 is inserted into an insertion hole 31 provided to the movable member 3, by an urging force of a coil spring 27, a projection 37 of a middle terminal 36 provided to the movable member 3 is pressed against a power supply terminal 24 on a lateral face of a terminal support member 25 provided to a bottom plate 21 of the receptacle main body 2 to sandwich the middle terminal 36 between the plug terminal 61 and the terminal support member 25, and thereby, the power supply terminal 24 and the plug terminal 61 are electrically connected with each other via the middle terminal 36.
