PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify an identification object in a high accuracy with a small calculation amount.SOLUTION: A character quantity extraction part extracts, from a content, a second identification object to be identified as to whether or not it is the same object as a first identification object so as to extract a feature quantity from the extracted second identification object. A score calculation part calculates a second similarity score indicative of a degree of similarity between a calculation object and the second identification object on the basis of a feature quantity of a calculation object for which a first similarity score indicative of a degree of similarity with the first identification object is calculated, and a feature quantity of the second identification object. An identification part conducts an identification, for each of a plurality of different calculation objects, on the basis of a comparison result obtained by comparing the first similarity score and the second similarity score, as to whether or not the first identification object and the second identification object are the same object. This disclosure is applicable to, for example, a computer which stores a content.
