TRANSPARENT HEAT-SHIELDING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite metal tungsten oxychloride which is highly transparent, whose heat insulation is highly effective and where the degree of the heat insulation is controllable, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A transparent heat-shielding material is characterized by being codoped with elements of different groups in the periodic table. The method for producing the material is simple, low cost and aimed at producing a composite tungsten oxychloride powder having a chemical formula of CsNWOCl(wherein, Cs is cesium; N is tin (Sn), antimony (Sb) or bismuth (Bi); W is tungsten; O is oxygen; and X, Y, Z and C are positive numbers satisfying following conditions: X≤1.0; Y≤1.0; Y/X≤1.0; Z≤0.6; and C≤0.1).
