SHEET CONVEYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device capable of reducing the conveyance resistance of a sheet in curved conveyance courses of a carry-in path and a carry-out path, and also suppressing the generation of noise, and to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A paper inversion device 28 including an inversion path 129 in which a sheet is inverted by being sent out after the sheet having passed through a fixation device 25 is sent in, a re-feed path 104 which re-feeds the sheet inverted in the inversion path 129 to an imaging section, a curved carry-in path 101 to send the sheet to the inversion path 129, and a curved carry-out path 102 conveying the sheet sent out of the inversion path 129 to the re-feed path 104 is provided with a belt member such as a conveyor belt 130 which makes surface movement in a sheet conveyance direction along a curved conveyance course of the carry-in path 101 and a curved conveyance course of the carry-out path 102 outside the curved conveyance courses.
