CATALYST APPARATUS FOR EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst apparatus for exhaust gas that secures high sealing performance and also improves durability.SOLUTION: A catalyst apparatus includes a cylindrical casing 31 which penetrates in a vertical direction, a frame body 44 suspended and supported in the casing 31, a denitration device 34 supported inside the frame body 44, and a seal member 51 interposed between an inner surface of the casing 31 and the frame body 44. The seal member 51 is constituted by providing catalyst layers 53, 54 on a top surface and a reverse surface of a first plate material 52 made of glass fibers, providing a second plate material 55 made of glass fibers in close contact with the catalyst layer 53 on the top surface, and providing a third plate material 56 made of glass fibers in close contact with the catalyst layer 54 on the reverse surface.
