BIRD DAMAGE PREVENTING TOOL FOR ELECTRIC WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird damage preventing tool for an electric wire that can be easily installed even on a curved electric wire.SOLUTION: A bird damage preventing tool 100 includes: a plurality of clip parts 1; a plurality of bird obstacle protrusions 2 radially projected from the respective clip parts 1; and a connecting part 5 for connecting the respective clip parts 1. One end in the direction of an axis L1 of each clip part 1 is provided with a first engaging part 6, and the other end in the direction of the axis L1 of each clip part 1 is provided with a second engaging part 8. The first engaging part 6 is engaged with a second engaging part 8 provided at another bird damage preventing tool 100, and each clip part 1 is formed to be displaceable by the deformation of the connecting part 5. Each clip part 1 is made hard to enhance rigidity to thereby prevent the bird damage preventing tool 100 from falling from an electric wire due to the shake of the electric wire caused by a wind or the like. Each bird obstacle protrusion 2 is also made hard to prevent the approach of birds.
