PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a quick view of an image converted in a desired manner when converting an image to a picturesque image.SOLUTION: Thumbnails are displayed which are reduction images of a subject image that is stored (step S101). If any thumbnail is touched in this state, an image-tone conversion is performed on the thumbnail so that the image thereof is in a predetermined image tone (e.g., oil-painting tone) (steps S109 and S111). If the thumbnail on which the image-tone conversion has been performed is re-touched, the image thereof is converted to an image in a different image tone (e.g., watercolor-painting tone) (steps S109 and S111 are repeated). If a batch conversion button is touched, the images of all the displayed thumbnails are converted to images in a predetermined image tone at once (step S104). If any one of the thumbnails on which the image-tone conversion has been performed is double-touched, it is determined that the conversion is confirmed, and the image tone of the subject image is converted so as to be displayed on a full screen (step S116).
