Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and properly specify a crack position of an aluminum tube of an OPGW.SOLUTION: A crack position specification apparatus includes: an optical deformation tube 2 arranged in an aluminum tube and deforms by irradiation of solar light; an FBG optical fiber 3 which is arranged in the optical deformation tube 2 so as to deform in accordance with deformation of the optical deformation tube 2 and in which a plurality of FBGs are arranged at a predetermined interval; and a monitoring device 4 for making predetermined light incident from a one-end part of the FBG optical fiber 3, receiving reflected light beams from respective FBGs and detecting the existence of a change in the reflected light beams.
